Senior General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)

Your Tasks in the Wolfpack:

  • Contribute to monthly group financial statement preparation under IFRS, plus analysis of changes and support in monthly reporting

  • Collaborate with Finance departments to further develop internal reporting requirements

  • Coordinate, monitor, and review general ledger-relevant matters with specialist departments and international accounting units

  • Ensure complete processing of all month-end and year-end closing entries

  • Ongoing posting and control in equity, investments, provisions, and other GL accounts

  • Conduct intercompany reconciliations and recharges to subsidiaries

  • Contact person for domestic and foreign subsidiaries on group reporting and financial statements

  • Support and coordinate process optimization projects, e.g., account reconciliation and provision determination

  • Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners

  • Contribute to SAP application and process optimization

    What You Bring:

  • Completed commercial training with focus on accounting or tax law; ideally supplemented by further training in financial accounting

  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in finance/accounting, preferably in an internationally active company

  • Very good knowledge of financial reporting under HGB and IFRS

  • Basic knowledge of group consolidation

  • Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA

  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel

  • Very good English (written and spoken)

  • Analytical mindset, high quality awareness, willingness to continuously develop

  • Ability to quickly grasp processes and clearly present optimization potential
